I am going to purchase a new 2025 soon. I will for the most part be running this on the Mississippi river. Can some of you out there tell me what make and model trolling motor on the bow your running. I plan on doing a fair amount of working wing dams while running the trolling motor. So there for I expect I'll be getting a 24-36 volt unit. Thanks ahead of time again. Mikey

I think the Minn Kota 74lb thrust Maxxum would be just right for you. The Pinpoint systems are nice but a little pricey. I'd also suggest getting the 60" shaft whatever brand you decide.

I would go with the maxxum. The transducers in the pinpoints get busted up when the trolling motor bounces and they have a lot of problems with them. If you are willing to go to 36 volts I would get the maxxum 101 in 60" shaft.
I have the 36v Maxxum 101 on my 2025 and would highly recommend it. The 2025 is a heavy boat, but the 36v Maxxum will pull the boat anywhere (even in wind or current) and will seemingly run forever without draining batteries. If you fish rivers or wind, I'd definitely go with 36v.
Maxxum 74 or 101. I have the 74# on my 1800 Pro V and love it.

I have a Pinpoint 3900-60 on my 2025 and it performs extremely well. I am very happy with it's performance and I like to be ablle to split screens, and have faster screen speeds with the sonars. Chris K
