I just purchased a set of Ultra Ride seats for my boat this spring and like the comfortable ride but had a spring in one of the seats separate and am having trouble getting the manufacture stand behind their warranty. Has anyone had any problems with this seat and if so how has their warranty department treated you? I have contacted them on at least 5 occasions and have been told they would send me a new pair of springs but they never seem to show up. I would appreciate any ones help in getting my problem solved.
Thanks
Darrell

Steve,
This is why I am questioning my decision to purchase the Ultra Ride. I have called and left numerous messages for Mr Scott Talbott, as well as talked to him three different times and was promised that the spring replacements would be sent out not in a day or two but sometime next week, This was around the second week in September. I would think that if one wants to keep their name in good standings would keep their customers problems at a minimum, but after the Devils Lake RCL tournament, which was labor day week, I called and talked to Scott, and due to the terrorists attack I can understand that there would be a little lag time but we are getting on close to 6 weeks later. Just a good thing we have some common sense and tore the seat appart and rewound the spring and it is working but we have no idea how long it will last. After spending $700.00 for 2 Ultra Ride Seats, we will have to consider the Glyde Ryde on our next boat.
Thanks for your responses,
Darrell
At the Green Bay RCL my fat ample arse broken the the spring on my Glyderide. Called John Estes and had a replacement within a week with no charge. Also sent me an extra spring and told me to replace both. Things I like about Glyde-Ryde, super ride, excellent customer service, when you have any questions you speak with the owner. Thank is good and bad. John loves to talk. And no I am not sponsered by him I pay full price like almost everyone else. When you get back to shore after a rough ride you'll agree it's money well spent. Every Co-Angler is happy to see those seats when he he gets in my boat.
