I'm always amazed at the guys I see spending hours polishing their boats/car/trucks. I worked for a while as a car detailer in college,..out of sight of the customers, he would use a pad or palm sander with terrycloth instead of "sandpaper",...use it to put your polish ON,...a towel to take it off,..buffing is mostly a thing of the past,..you can do a BIG car in 10-15 min...better than most people do by hand,..try it,..and spend the rest of the time fishing.
