How are the records going to work? Are we going by size of the catch, value of the jet ski or I.Q of the driver???

Now there's a use for those old treble salmon-snagging hooks! I think a 4oz pyramid sinker on one of my surf rods would work too.

A safty flare shot over the bow of a airhead too close will sometimes do the trick,but you may need to be ready to back that up.I find that a dipsy diver,off to the side about 40 yards out,with a granade rigged to the release works quite nicely.and makes a heck of a wake for any jetskis in the area.There's a Kawasaki and a Polaris in my trophy room.

Just booby trap your planner boards!!!! if I trolled claymores inplace of planner boards my trophy room would be full of jet ski's.

I think this could be even bigger than the gfo tour,lol. Think of the fun we can have torturing jet-skier's. Think i'll rig up a special pole just for them.

Take that 1oz wieght and pitch it at thier HULL--I'll bet 3 oz. pitched fast enough might go right through!!If your questioned after...you were fishing for shovelheads!!!you needed 3ozs to keep the bait in place!!

Good idea guys, Dad and I have had jetski's take and come around and do circles around us this one time this jerk just came back and kept doing it. After the 3rd time I tied on a big Zara Spook and started tossing it at him. Needless to say he left us alone. I always thought about taking a 1oz weight and chucking it at them but figured I would probably get somebody hurt. Oh well guess someone is going to have to come up with something. Flopping your stuff out and taking a pi** usually will work for pleasure boaters especially if they have kids with them. Either that or dropping your drawers and giving them the full moon.

About two years ago I had a ski boat fly past me while I was trollen with a planerboard about 100' out. I screamed and tried to wave him off, But he just waved back and caught my planner line on the way by. The line bent the staff over before snapping with the sound of a gun going off. (Thank goodness I wasn't carring a gun onboard). I never did get his #s,I figured it wouldn't help anyways,Glad to hear it does. I'd be happy to build a drum lure and troll with you when ever your ready.

H*ll no! I think it's a GREAT idea...if you need help rigging it, just let me know! I'm glad to hear that after you reported them they got slapped...I've always wondered if reporting them would actually do anything...Glad to see that it did!

(True Story)
Last year there was about 30 boats in a small area pack(Tri) trollin' for Eyes on a weekend. Well a Idiot Boater pullin' a Blond Bimbo with a half dozen Wet-Bike Sniffers followin' cuts thru the Pack .. The Dingees made it thru in one piece, but left a H*ll of a mess behind & Ole Raybob on their tail till I got the no#s & went straight to Hdq .. they got a $50 fine & court cost in the newspaper .. S*#$, they cut up more line & lures than that & ruined the day for many Anglers on there day off!
I've got a new lure I'm thinkin' about trollin' on weekends .. a 50 gal drum on a 150' log chain .. Hope you don't think this makes me all Bad!!!
