Got so many bugs on windshield last night on the way home from fishing that I could hardly see at times. Any good stuff to get them off??

One cup of vinegar to 6 cups hot water. Get yourself and old rag with at least 170 pounds of elbow grease will take them right off.

Coca Cola works better than most glass cleaners. Shake up the bottlke and spray on the glass or plastic. Let it work a couple minutes, and rinse off. (And to think we drink that stuff!)

Try the steel wool and no kidding, Coca Cola. DON'T get it on the paint. Also works to get rust spots off of a chrome bumper and loosens tough rust nuts and bolts. Just think what it doest to our stomachs.
Keep the line tight,

I get the same thing during the lakefly hatches at Winnebago. All I do is go to one of those "do it yourself" car washes and spray the Supersoap on. I let it soak while I wash the rest of the truck. By the time you get back around to the windshield all you have to do is use the power sprayer to blast the little buggers off. No elbow grease involved, and clean as a whistle.
Even after the bugs have sundried on the glass, this still works.
The secret is soaking them long enough.
If your like me, the less elbow grease involved, the happier I am..;-)

Not sure it works for ALL blooms of bugs,..but I have set up a hose to release a Very fine mist and go have lunch,..1/2-1 hour later,.. I use lestoil in hot water,..comes rt off w/o elbow work,..if YOUR bugs are harder,..I might try one of those scrub pads,..the type that "feel" gritty but can be used on teflon,...
BTW,...I love the STP product called "THE BLADE",..its kinda like,.(but much better IMO) than RAINX,..The latter seems always to smear my windshild,..but Ice, mud, snow, rain, and bugs doesn't stick so well on your windshield if you have it on it,..and it lasts much longer,..as much as 6 months..

An axe and a flamethrower usually do away with the bugs.
