How many of you have tried using jet divers with your Off-shore paner boards? Have you tried 20's, 30's, or 40's? Did you use the tattle flag? How were the turns?

Yes I have used jet divers with small in line boards. I have never tried using the 30 or 40 jets but the 20 size works great with them.
As for turns, Just like fishing cranks or spinners take the turns slow and you should be fine.

Oops... Forgot to say about the tattle flags.
Tattle flags are Junk in my oppinion. Unless you beef up the spring they just won't hold the weight of a deep diving crank bait and no way will they hold a Jet diver.
Learn to read your boards with out the flag. Also I like the Church boards better because there is nothing else you have to buy to make the board usable. With the Off Shores you pay for the board, then youy need to pay for different clips, then you pay for the tattle flag. I know it is all just marketing but with my Church Boards all I have to do is buy it clip it on and go fishing. The church boards also have moveable weights on the bottom so when I am pulling jets or Deep Diving Cranks you can move the weight forward keeping the board level in the water allowing it to run smoother and better.
Just my Oppinion here and I'm sure it will be hacked to death here. I didn't reply to your post initialy here because of all the bashing that goes on here.
I like to read what goes on here but lately it is hard to miss all the negative comments people like to throw at eachother.

Sunshine,
I almost always run big boards so I've never tried running jets off the inline boards but know that some people do. I'm sure 20s would be no problem, 30s probably fine too - 40's might pull too much.
Good Luck

You don't just 'pay' for the OffShore accessories, but you 'pay dearly'. I have a hard time laying out $30 for parts that cost less than $5.
It's the same with Cannon downriggers. How much can it really cost to make a 2-rod holder, a ball retriever, etc.
It's a principle thing. I charge a fair price for my services and I expect the same treatment from those whom I buy from. If I feel like I'm being overcharged for something I tend to look elsewhere or do without.
