For those of you who have been following my ongoing saga with my crestliner being rapired, the wait is over. I sent it in right before Thanksgiving and I got it back in 2 1/2 weeks. To fix the leaning to the port side when running 1/2 to full speed they rewelded a lot of parts in transom area and it appears they remounted the engine. Also, the small leak that we had was fixed along with some of the boat cover screws that were loose. The only bad thing that came out of this was that they put a good sized scratch on the side of my boat from most likely parking it up against a dock when they were testing it. I was pissed about it because I keep the boat in perfect condition but at least I've got my boat back.
P.S. fishing has been great on Lake Michigan for perch and salmon.

Thats too bad about the scratch. What did they have to say about it? How does the repair look? It seems like a pretty decent turnaround time. What is your overall feeling about the whole thing?

Perchjerker, I am very pleased with what they did. Now that they redid the transom the boat runs very straight and true. We were out on Lake Michigan last saturday in some pretty choppy water and we ran great. The leak we once had is completely gone and the cover fits perfect once again. I would have to say that all in all Crestliner does have some great customer service.

Okay Grebs, give it up :).....Where you finding the Perch? I have this urge to go try for a batch as a addition to the X-mas Turkey.
