Thinking about buying a couple of Gander Mountain 7' medium action rods for bottom bouncing. They are on sale this week for $50. Your thoughts please.
I feel Gander Mountain rods are generally a good value for the $$ spent. It would be difficult to find another comparably priced rod with the same action/sensitivity, especially when they are on sale.Just an opinion.

I think for the money your are getting a very good rod. I haven't gotten any yet though. Been saving for the St. Croix, Legend elite. Book keeper is frowning on that purchase. Once I have my pennies save, I'll be picking up a couple for extras in the boat.
