Does anyone know if there is any fishing log software out there for Palms? If so, where can I get it? Any reviews? Thanks.

Mattman,
I have not used any of them. I don't even own a Palm! Great idea tho...I think instantly logging everything would be the way to go. I usally forget to log anything at all or forget the important little details by the time I get around to doing it.
Maybe Hans could compile his future logging program for use with a Palm Pilot?
Let me know how it works out...

Might also try DDH software. It's a database that will let you create ANY database for the Palm that you will ever need - plus there are many pre-maid ones for free..
20 bucks or so - It's the ONLY palm program I have bought - and I'm a power user.
Wrote my own database 10 years ago for the PC and someday will port all the fields to DDH so I can move them back and forth - it also has a desktop interface - will export to excell - access - etc.
I couldn't let myself be tied down to fields I wouldn't use - or need fields that wern't there...

You have to be shoitting me! I thought I needed a vacation, but you fellas definetly need a little time off to breath fresh air. You actually take a Palm fishing with you? What ever happened to time of the water .

I've been keeping a journal of my fishing for 5 years now. I love the format that I've developed. Its quick and easy to fill out, but I'm always looking for an easier better way. I just got a Palm at work and don't think it will be only for work. For the opener I used a microcassette recorder. Works great, except its not written down anywhere yet. Which will be a problem. I downloaded the Palm software and I'm not convinced that I'll like it any better than my form I developed, but I'll give it a try. Not to mention my Palm is much smaller than my paper journal. I also downloaded some lunar and solar software to keep track of the moon and sun phases. Its really nice to have a record of your fishing. Times, dates, weather, hot lures, moon phase........
