Excuse the ignorance, but what is a jet diver and how does it work. Thanks in advance for the education.

A jet diver is like a dipsy diver. Both are used to take baits deeper when trolling than the bait could achieve on it's own.

Except a jet diver does not have a release mechanism and there for you are fighting both the diver and the fish all the way. Jet divers are bought depending on depth wanted -20-30-40-50. Primarily run straight behind a boat or off Big Boards. 20's can be run off In-Line boards.
