I spent a day with a Lund dealer/tournament angler last summer and we had a great discussion about the Pro-v boats. My question is comming from the post earlier about the 1900 vs 2025.
The gentleman I fished with had a strong opinion that the 1900 was the best performing Pro-V due to its HP rating to foot print(surface area in water) ratio. He said that the 1900 was able to get up on plane better and maintain a higher plane(less hull in the water)at cruise-high speeds. His reasoning was because of the increase in overall surface area you gain in the 2025 and only realize a 25 HP rating increase that the mid to upper end performance suffers. What is your feeling on this matter. This person is a loyal Lund person but he just has his favorite model and this was his reason why. Is there any truth to this reasoning or is this another case of each man has his opinion. Not trying to start a debate among Lund owners, just looking for some performance facts. T-Mac, this seemed to be the type of question you can usually handle well and give your opinion as a dealer. Thanks for the help..
