It's just about time every sport fisherman on Lake Erie sent a email to John Snobelen letting him know our feelings on the gill netters trying to get their quotas raised. The only thing these people are interested in is the God all Mighty Dollar not what they have been doing to one of the biggest fresh water fisheries in the world. I'm getting sick of listening to all the guys in my tackle shop complain about the commercial fishermen and doing nothing. I've let the MNR and Mr. Snobelen just how I feel about the situation more than once but I'm just one person, if we all flood Mr. Snobelens office with email and letters just maybe we can convince him to leave the quota cuts they way they are. Our Perch fishery is just getting back to what it was years ago and the gill netters want to put them back to the verge of extention. Come on people get off your asses and do something before it's to late, thats my 2 cents worth. What are you going to do, have a good one EH!!!

my experiance with the mnr is they
could care less about anything but their very narrow point
of view. they love their gill netters up there and give
nearly all of their fish to them.

you have my support and my best wishes as you try to right
this wrong. it will be an uphill struggle.
