There used to be a company named Oxboro Outdoors that sold various types of holders for inside the boat. Is this company still in existance, bought out by someone, merged or changed its name? If gone forever does anyone know of a company with similar products other than Holzit which is listed with WC? Thanks for any and all help-Tom!

Sportsmans Guide in Mounds View, MN was selling out all of the Oxboro products last fall. I was there and asked where they got all of the stuff, and was told that Oxboro went out of business. I don't know of any other companies that make that type of foam stuff. I think I have seen some of the same kind of stuff sold by Bass Pro, but don't know who makes it.

Oxboro Outdoors ceased to exist in December of 2000, and was then known as Outdoor Acquisitions. As far as the rod holders you are asking about, you may get some information from Andy Aisle who lives in Ham Lake Minnesota. He used to work their and owned the company before he sold it to the Oxboro group. Call information for his number. You'll know you have the right number if his wife's name is Barb. Good luck!
