Now looking @ 1800 Lund Pro-V or 1800 Fisherman OB. Wanting Boat & Trailer only. Already have motor. Will be fishing mostly Lake Erie. Would like to find 2001 left over or even a earlier model if it is out there. Please list pros & cons to these models. Thanks ahead for any information & thoughts on this subject.

I have the 2001 Fisherman 1800 and love it! If you have kids pre-teen and younger then go with the Fisherman. The only draw back is it's harder to fish out of than the Pro-V. I do alot of Detroit river fishing and tubing on lakes so it works for both.....Glen

I bought a 2001 1800 fisherman for the same reason, it's great with my small children.I really like the sport package with the top,I don't know how I boated and fished without one! I went from an 18 glass skeeter deep v to this and would do it again.
I have a 2001 150 on it and a bunk trailer, I paid 16,640 for the boat motor and trailer out the door.

Well, I got the 2001 Fisherman w/Eagle trailer and 175 Opti. I paid about $22.500 with all of my rebates. I got a match Lund rebate w/Mercury and a Rebate from GM. The total amount rebate was about $1,500.....Glen

With what I know about Mercury 175 Opti. pricing, that gives me a ballpark figure on what u paid for boat & trailer only. I am leaning toward the Pro-V thought right now because it is a little closer to a bass boat style boat that I am looking for.

That's a great price in my book for the rig. At what dealer did you get this boat? Thanks for all your help.

Just to let you know my motor is an 150 Evinrude FICHT, a 175 would have been $600 more all brand new.The dealer told me not to go with the 175 because it would only get me 2 mph tops, said they both had the same powerhead.I don't know if that's true or not. I really like my motor, I'm sure you'll love that opti in the pro V also!

I bought my boat out of Sask. Canada and they delivered it to my door.
The boat was a steal, the "good deal" they were going to give me here was about $7,000 more! I sure was glad I looked around, a little far away from KY thou!!
