Hi Folks
I could use some advice on how to fish for walleye at Seminoe Res. in the great state of Wyoming. I have fished for rainbow trout here in the past with decent catches Trolling with a silver Williams wobbler. In northern Ontario we troll for walleye with a floating Rapala along rocky shores with good to great results with both eyes and pike.
However this method does not seem to work at Seminoe. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have only fished it for about three seasons and have had the best luck fishins the wind blown shore line and points with a pink or pink and orange twotone jig tipped with acrawler or leach. On occasion we also have had luck pitching *7 shad raps on points or mudlines near the canyon, crawdad color. I hope this helps best time after July Fourth in my opinion. Good Luck

Well when in doubt live bait rigging with leeches, minnows,or crawlers has always been a killer. I am not real familiar with the res. itself but this has always been a sure fire way to pick up fish. There is a number of ways to present the bait. Slip bobber fishing, lindy rigging, bottom bouncers and spinners. Hope this helps. Good Luck

It doesn't warm up until late July because of all the runoff entering from the North Platte. Try Pathfinder this time of the year and fish the canyon section.

He's right just head over the mountain and you can stab your boat in off of Sage Creek Road down past the chalk bluffs. It's probably about 15 miles or so from the red hills boat ramp. Pathfinder is a great fishery. I like the Sailor Bay area on Seminoe in late July & August. Or try jigging the rocks and little bays from the Dam to Red Hills when the Crawfish explode.

Keep it Bent Eh.

Nice to see someone else finally give Pathfinder the respect it deserves.
