Will be making a trip up to Gull Lake (MN) next week and just wondering if anybody has a few words of advice about the bite?

it is hot. i went ther tuesday and we pulled plugs in about 10 ft of water and filled our limit two times. the biggest was four pounds, but their was a lot of little males with giss coming all over the boat.

If you are talking about Gull Lake in the Nisswa area, the walleye bite stinks. The bite in the entire area is bad. Some of the best guides in the area are fishing all day and coming up with zero. I believe that the fish are still post spawn. The fish that we have found have been tight to the weeds. You search for new green weeds and you'll find a fish or two. The night bite has been OK on Raps.
