Have talked with several Lund dealers in the Ohio Area and I am considering purchasing a boat from Johnsons Best Buy in Port Clinton. Has any one delt with them? Anyone had any service done but them? Talked with them at the Cleveland show and was impressed by the sales rep. Don't get me wrong. I have been in sales for 13 years and know when someone is blowing sushine up my ***. Thanks for the reply in advance.

Mike Houk has been my good friend for almost 20 yrs.HE is also one of the best fisherman I know. He was a charter capt. on Erie for yrs. I bought a Lund from him 2 yrs. ago, had some problems with delivery from Lund but he made it right in the end. I have been happy with both boat & service. Mike will treat you right. As for the owner he is a A$$ Hole. Deal with Mike.
Also got my lund there. They were resonable knowledgible people. Jim was my salesman and I can recommend him.

Mike is the guy with whom I am working with. The thing that impressed me is this. After looking at all of the boats they had on their floor and then going to the show in Cleveland. Mike said to me "don't be forced into buying something because it is sitting here. You are putting out allot of money. Make sure it is what you want and will suit your purpose no one can tell you what that is". All of the others dealers I have spoken with try to get you to buy what they have on their floor.Which for one reason or another, isn't quite what I want. I will buy from Mike and order what I truly want.

Are you guys using the traimaster trailer. Mike at Johnsons tells me that the trailmaster is all they use. From some of the things I have read on this board I am kind of worried about the trailer. Any problems?
Yes i have the trailmaster and it is top notch esp. compared to my previous shorelander. Trails nice and loading is a breeze and the components on it are good quality. They have built to each specific lund.

Mike is a great guy. Their service dept is crappy though.
