Seeing the other post concering the alarm bring back a question that I had last fall. I have a center console with a 150 Merc saltwater and the alarm is located inside the console. What I fear is that when I am running on the water I don't think that I will be able to hear the alarm. The alarm is not the loudest even when I turn the ignition key without the motor running. What I would like to do is to install a small light on the dash that is connected to the alarm wiring. This way when the alarm goes off the light will also flash. Has anybody done this or know how I could do this. What light to use, a certain voltage light or any specifics will be a great help.
