Motorguide users,
I have a Motorguide Lazer ES 52lb. thrust bowmount that gets very little use. Last fall, when checking it over, I noticed the prop would only spin when the foot pedal read eight or above and would hardly spin at that. While getting general maintenance done on the boat last month, I had the mechanic inspect it. It wouldn't do anything for him (battery and connections are fine). He only works on Minn Kota. It's a 1997 with less than 40 hours on it. Is it worth looking up a service dealer or should I buy a new one? Thanks.
