Can a Crestliner rep tell me why this boat isn't being made anymore? Don't see it on their website. Dam good boat...My 2000 model has been trouble free. It gets used from early march to early december every weekend of the year for fishing and pulling skiers and tubes. The mercury efi has been trouble free also. After reading from the long post below about that fellows problems with his crestliner, I thought I would post something positive about mine. Its plenty fast, easy to drive and stable to fish from and a good looking boat to look at. The ONLY problem I have with mine is, figure out how to use it 7 days a week and still be able to eat...and stay married...

Hey Larry, I am not a Rep but you might like to know that Crestliner, from my understanding, uses the CVX hull for it's new Fishhawk 1850. Other than that, I can't help much other than to say that the wife thinks theres something wrong me me in that I like to fish to much :) Take care

crestliner does have a few very similar models that seem to have been blended into newer versions of what us customers want.
Now, for that wife issue. The new purchase of one of these fine crestliners and staying married is also a real big hurdle. I've never finished so many projects around the house in years. "Major Sucking Up". Guide#7 out

I got an 1850 Sportfish and she got a washer and dryer. I got a new GPS and she got a leather coat. Seems fair to me. But now I have to finish the laundry room.

my latest dilemma (not really) is when i go on a fishing or hunting trip she has found a way to balance it with a "fun" trip too.
the only dilemma is to worm my way in on her trips. just don't like to miss having fun ya know. Remember, NEVER GIVE UP SPACE OR TRIPS.
