If im going to look at a used boat. What Q's should i ask and what should i look for?

Probably the best thing that you can do when looking at a used boat is take it for a test run.

If the owner does not know how many hours of use he puts on, you may be abe to guess.. Ask him how many times he fills up the fuel tank each season or year.. Also many people buy 2 cycle oil by the gallon or quart. Ask him how many gallons of oil he used in a year or last year, or how many quarts? This may give you some idea of engine use. I would also ask for service records if any. And what type of repair and maintanance he has done... Sometimes people say they have never done a thing to the motor and it always runs great. Not really a good reason to neglect maintenance.
