A special thanks to the Ortonville Jaycees and "rookie" tournament director Greg Peterson for the quick adaptation for Sunday and the weigh in.
An incredible storm came up in what seemed like 10 minutes. 35 MPH winds with gusts to 45 made it impossible and very unsafe to offload the fish at either dock. And when the stinging rain and lighting started, the Jaycees were at the ramp helping get anglers off the boats, motoring them over to their trailers and getting them loaded.
To all those who were questioning the need for marine radios prior to the tournament . . . Sunday says more than anything I could say. Without the radios there would have been big and dangerous problems. I'm extremely glad that the MWC added that rule this year.
