boat choice(help!)

I need your help guys, I'M looking at 2 boats I may be interested in buying. Both boats would be powered by yamaha 80 hp 4-strokes. the boats are crestliner 1650 fish-hawk, mr. pike 16. I understand that the mr. pike has a higher h.p. rating, but I don't want to use that as a factor in my choice. also are these boats bad choices if from time to time I fish shallow trolling motor lakes here in Penna. I'm concerned about how much the boats draft in the water. thanks as always for your help!!

I own an '01 1650 Fishawk SC with a 75hp Mercury 4 stroke, so it's close to one of your choices. I think my engine weighs about 400lbs; a lot of mass pushing that stern downward. And, as I recall, lookin over the stern while afloat, it draws a good 10 inches of water, not counting the lower unit of the engine. I would be very worried taking her into water less than 2 feet deep.
