#1 Thanks Scott for allowing the PWT/Bahl thread(s) to run. I'm sure you were uncomfortable, but it was a hot topic and you did a great service. Kudo's! I apologize for some of the past hassle I put you through, you really earned my respect on this one.
#2 Just a suggestion. It seems lots of people on here want advice and/or recommendations about rods, equipment, etc. Is there some way you could set up a board that allowed reviews by equipment owners only (Scout's honor I guess).
For example:
Headings/Thread:
Reels
Spinning Baitcasting Trolling
Shimano Daiwa Pinnacle Abu Garcia (etc)
Models
Review
Ratings 1-10 (10 best)
Individual comments signed or unsigned
I'm sure folks out here have a lot better ideas than I do, my worry would be any jeapordization of your advertiser support, that does pay the bills. It would be nice to be able to set up the "model area" as a user if one doesn't exist. For example, be able to add a new reel when it comes out so you don't have to.
