Am considering this motor to be used a kicker on 17 foot boat. Looking for any info good or bad on this motor. Also is a bracket needed for extra support in rough conditions, or is the built in trim sufficient. Thanks in advance!

Check the archives, there are lots of posts on this motor with the same questions. To summarize most of them, they say it's a great motor and the power tilt is good enough by itself.
Buy one, the other posters out here convinced me.
