Anyone have an idea what size of 3 way weight it might take in 20 - 25' of water in a lake with no current going at 1.5 mph and pulling a crankbait such as walleye diver or shad rap to maintain approximately a line angle of approximately 45 degrees. Guessing at least 5- 6 ounces and probrably more. Expect regular bank sinkers might snag quite a bit. Anyone make any heavy bottom bouncer type sinkers (over 5 ounces) which would not snag as easily?

At 2.2 using 6 lb. Fireline a Magnum Wally Diver would be on the bottom w/ no weight. I would use a bait w/ a less aggressive dive curve like a Husky Jerk behind a bottom bouncer, downrigger, dipsy etc to get better control. In your case just use a more aggressive bait, lighter line and a bit more speed and you will enjoy the fish more w/o the weight.
