I just had to post the big fish weights from Wednesday's competition.

1. 14.64lbs. (new tourney record)
2. 12.91lbs. (new PWT pro record)
3. 12.63lbs. (just another hog)

You gotta love Erie........I thank God for putting me on this earth next to her.

By the way Norb Wallock was in 1st with 48.48# and David Kid (go David!) close behind him with 48.41#. Day 2 was cancelled due to storms. There were some real heros (pros) fishing early on day 2 that rescued 4 people from a capsized boat in the 48 degree water. You guys are true the winners.

More to the point, I think the rescue effort you pointed out deserves a post of it's very own... Tourney fisherman (and I'm not one) often get bashed for a variety of things & this again shows that they are mostly good people like the rest of us who would potentially risk their lives to help out others in a situation like this. My hat's off to these guys.
