I've been having trouble with the sonaar function on my 350a and older model LMS 300. Both units are connected to a single transducer with a spliter and switch to change between the units. The first time out this year the 350a worked for about 2 minutes then lost bottom and the digital readout started to blink. Switched to the 300 and all I got was blinking digital readout and no bottom reading. I had the transducer replaced but it didn't correct the problem. Now the 350 digital blinks zero and no bottom is graphed. The 300 blinks 172 feet in water that is no more than 30 feet. The GPS functioning on the 350 works fine. Could the problem be in the switch. My dealer is kind of at a loss. He thought replacing the transducer would do the trick but no good. I'm leaving for Lake Erie this week end and a boat with out sonar won't be alot of good to me. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suppose the switch could be the culprit, but you could check it out by simply bypassing the switch and plug the transducer directly to the unit. That should determine the switch theory.
Since you ruled out the transducer as the culprit, I'd try the power connector. You might be getting some loss of power, or, the battery is simply not putting out enough power. If none of the above resolve the issue, it would probably seem to be the unit, meaning repair service.

Go to your menus & reset units to orginal factory settings & try it again.
