ask where you buy the license. i would think yes .

a husband and wife license is sometimes called a family license
then it would not include kids for limits.

have fun and no problems...enjoy minnesota

LAST EDITED ON May-23-01 AT 07:10AM (CST)[p]There are two different non-resident licenses that could be purchased.

I think you want the "Angling, Family" license ($46.00) which covers husband/wife/children under 16. Under that license, you'd be allowed 3 limits.

There is also an "Angling, Husband and Wife 14 Day" license ($35.00). As I read the rules (and I could be wrong), under that license your child could still fish, but her catch would count against your (two) limits.

Best bet would be check with MN DNR, not a bait dealer, because the rules are a little foggy to me as written up in the little booklet which comes with your license.

towman, Hans is 100% accurate. You need to purchase the $46.00 Angling Family license, to keep the 3 limits your looking for.

Thanks I checked out the DNR site and that seems the way to go.
