Seems like people on this board love to complain about anonymous posts. Well I would LIKE to be able to register and log on but when I try to register I get the following message: "For security reason, anonymous email addresses are not allowed. Please register with non-anonymous email address."
Well, EXCUSE ME. I have hotmail e-mail address. It is my "personal" e-mail address and I like it because I am very rarely unable to reach the mail box or at the whime of one server (like I would be with a WC e-mail address). This is not the only forum I lie to read. I don't like having a jillion e-mail accounts, none of which I would check and they would just expire (been there done that). I am willing to fill in my name and any other information required.
BTW, none ofthese complaints have ever been directed toward me. Just wanted to point our that the forum rules don't allow some folks to register.

i feel your pain...
you will also notice the complaints come after the anonymous
posters are swinging away at someone or something.
i learned recently that there are "handles" that you will
recognize as long time posters. these people are better
known by their "nicknames" than their real names.
it is the anonymous posters who's suject is "curt quesnell
is a big jerk" or "riverrat is a crook" that i will always
object to.
it is pretty simple really...
thanks for the post though.

There is a reason Scott has it set up so anon. email accounts can't be used, but you can still get a WC email addy and have it forward your mail to you hotmail account, so you don't have to go into the WC email page to get your mail. It's simple just follow the Options directions once your set up. Then you will be able to register.
Just a thought...

I apologize to any anonymous posters that are in this same boat as rvvrat. My intent in the posting I complained about is/was to point out that whenever an unknown person leaves their message and there is no name or e-mail address alot of us find your stories hard to believe. It is one of the first things we look for when trying to see who took a shot at the Game wardens again or who's P.O.'ed at the people running your tournaments. Most of these stories have an unbelieveable element in there somewhere about the treatment they received and how everyone is out to get them.
I found the boat ramming story hard to believe because there was three people standing there watching the DNR boat come along side and not one of them was smart enough to slow his advance with a foot push or hand to reach out and direct his boat away. Also, the chances that he just happened to ram their boat with two unlicensed individuals in it so the owner couldn't complain for fear of aggravating the situation. From 10 ft. away, how fast could he have been going? It's not like he was getting a good hole-shot for the start of a tournament.
I have been wrong before but I don't recall ever seeing "Last Boat Off" as a handle here before. If you are a semi-regular user and I've just missed you, I'm sorry.

Looks like I eat Crow again! Last Boat Off, I humbly apolgize for doubting your story and your identity. I went back and checked the archives and it appears you have been a regular contributor since January 2001. Please do not let my conduct influence your further postings in this forum. I was wrong to assume you were making up a story just to bash the game wardens. I hope you will accept my apology and let bygones be bygones.
I messed up BIG TIME on this one!

Hey Rvvrrat,
You don't need to register. However if you still desire to, contact Scott and we'll see what the issue is with your e mail coming up as annonymous.
In the meantime, just enter your e mail in the field when you post. It is nearly as good as registering, and people are sure it is actually you. Registering is the best way to prevent imposters from logging in as you. However, if you left a valid e mail addy on every post, people will still recognize you as you.
I am registered but still frequently just type in my e mail, without logging in.
Have fun..........R
