Just a reminder that the Get-Together will be the weekend of August 17-19 at Glendo Res. We will use the Whisky Gulch campground as our central meeting place. The marina also has six cabins avaiable at about $60 a night for double occupancy. Their is also a Best Western in Douglas that has large parking slips and a resturant and more importantly a bar.

I seem to of misplaced the marina phone number. If any of you know it would you please post it here.

I will also start a list of people who need partners or have a spot available on their boat.

I'll take my boat and fish with you, unless there's a surplus of boats needing passengers. Or unless you buy a new Ranger between now and then.

It looks like my Son may of totaled my wifes Jetta last night, so a new boat may be pushed even farther down the list.

Anybody who wants to stay in the cabins I would suggest calling the number Wheels left above and reserving a cabin now. We stayed there last year and the are adequate. They have showers and small air conditioners.

Do we need to make reservations for a camping spot? How about availability of electric, water, and sewer for campers or trailers?

No reservations for camping are necessary nor allowed in Whisky Gulch. There are no sites with electricity, water nor sewer. Pretty much you must be self sustaining.

That's not a problem for me. My camper is self-contained, but it's nice to know in advance.

Whisky Gulch also has its own boat ramp. Glad to hear you can make it this year!

Thanks, Neal. I'm looking forward to it. I have a buddy who will join me and we will have a boat, either his Sylvan or my Lund. See you in August.

Hi Neal, I just moved to Cheyenne and am going to look at a new boat this weekend. I'll be there either with or without boat.

Cool. Do you still want to give your one hour seminar on carp tactics and recipes on Saturday night?

Targeting the carp in western reservoirs is quite a challenge. I would be happy to do a seminar, but really I think it is something more than skill. I believe it has a lot to do with luck or lack of it!

As far as recipes...nothing beats carp sushi! MMMMMM Gooood.

I might just get drunk enough, to be able to sit thru that!

Eric,
Are you still holding a spot on that boat for me? Non-smoking, beer drinking section. I am still planning on being there. Thanks, Lou

Anything goes in my boat, but that means you will have to tolerate everything as well especially smoking.
