Sorry no pics but I can explain. I used one of the transducer mounting boards...this one was white like teflon. I mounted it on the side oposite the kicker motor. The fun part is getting it to fit the transom, as nothing seems to be flat in that area and the transom line doesn't seem to be straight. I centered the board about where the outer edge of the pad is on the bottom of the boat. With a cardboard template I patterned the bottom of the boat and used this to form the white mounting board... I used a band saw (jig saw would work) and a belt sander to form the board till it fit the transom using 4 stainless screws ( predrill board and transom) Make sure you put silicone in transom screw holes. and fasten board to transom with a little silicone around the perimiter of the board. I then mounted a speed wheel and two transducers to this nice flat mounting surface. I routed all cables together and straight up the transom and drilled a hole just above waterline and used one of the neat cable covers and some good silicone. Take note that there is nearly 3 inches of high density wood and fiberglass in the back of a Ranger transom and dont hit one of the vertical braces inside! I think it takes about a 7/8" hole saw unless someone has changed the size of the cable connectors. You can then route the wires inside the transom and over to where the main harness goes to the front thru a tube..thus eliminating some clutter around the motor.
Tech note...I have found the Bullet drill bits work best to drill into the fiberglass with little or no chipping

Orangebarrel, get a hold of "Grampa" Joe, he created a block for that sole purpose. Matt Thompson

Matt,
I didn't create the block to mount a tranducer on the back of a Ranger. Mike Meyers from Frankies did. I just manufactured them for him.
I don't sell them, it's his product. I just bought one from Frankies the other day and put it on a 620. If they'll sell them, you can get them at Frankies. Ask for parts. (651) 257-6334
