Just called the Lake Point in Marblehead to confirm our May 13-20 reservation & found that for some reason our reservation (2 trailers for 9 guys)is for the 6th-13th in their books w/ no openings for the week of the 13th. Half the group is in Redwing for the long weekend already so I don't know if others will be able to change their vacation plans yet.

Just in case, can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced place to check in the Marblehead/Port Clinton area? Looking at trailers/cabins rather than a motel type arrangement. 8-9 guys total..

Thanks, Dave

Try the Mar Lu Marina. They have a Boat ramp, Docks, and some cabins. I don't know how they are we stay in the motel. 419 732 3300. Also pull up Ottawa County Visitor. Hope this helps. Bob

Try Camp Perry, between Port Clinton and Bessie. They have great accomodations at a very fair price, we have enjoyed their hospitality for a couple of years now.
tight lines and good fishin!

I've always stayed at beach cliff lodge. They are down the road a bit from marblehead,in catawba island. Nothing fancy, but their "cottages" have fridge/freezer,kitchen,with utencils, etc. The price is reasonable. the # is 419-797-4553. Good Luck.

Thanks guys.. Guess I'll find out tonight when the crew gets back from the river whether we change dates or start callin'... This should give me a good list if we need to find alternate lodging.

Thanks again, Dave
