What are the advantages of having both of the line clips attached toward the front of an Off Shore planer board? When moving the rear line snap to the front how should it be attached? Should mono be wrapped around the snaps for better holding? These may be simple questions but I am new to planer boards and Im trying to learn more. Thank-you.

Welcome to the world of planer fishing. It can be simple and it can be made difficult. I would recommend first getting the boards on the water the way they come out of the package and then playing with as many different methods as you can. You probably will come up with a few of your own. Check out our website by clicking on the Off Shore logo on the WC homepage and order a newspaper. It explains lots of ways to use the product.

I believe the advantage to having both clips up fron on the Off Shore boards is to allow the board to move forward, more than it would if the clip was in the back. Attach the back clip to the arm (metal piece), directly behind the front clip. If you use the red clips (heavy tension), there should be no need to wrap the mono around the clip---just one guys opinion
