Looking for info on 94 Lund 16' Rebel and 40HP Johnson 2 stroke w/t&t.
Is this a good fishing combo for smaller lakes and Canada once in a while? Mostly fish 2 in a boat. Has 3 seats, livewell, Minkota 65 on transom and same on front with foot control. Thanks for any input.
Looks very clean and well kept. Swen

I have a 1990 16'Lund, Rebel, tiller model with a 35 hp, 3 cyl. Johnson motor. Use a Minn-Kota on the transom. I really like the boat for places I fish. Most lakes in Iowa under 5000 acres, Canada lake that have islands for protection from wind. I know most people are only thinking BIG and FAST now days but its not needed. Good Luck!

Sounds to me like its a good combo for what you want to do. I fish Canada a lot and we usually rent the whole works cabin, food and boat. Sixteen to eighteen footers is what you get with a 25hp engine.
We don't rent the food naturally but we get the whole plan. Just bought a new Lund 14'w/25hp tiller and I love it. Good fishing, God bless.

The Rebel has been Lunds entry level boat for a long time. Anyone would be happy with one. I have a 2000 Rebel with a 30 HP 4 stroke. It move pretty good. I can't imagine how fast it would be with a 40 HP 2 stroke. Sounds like a well equiped boat though. And there's a lot of tweeking you can do too. Hopefully it's been well cared for and is reasonably priced.
