I grew up in Jamestown 20 years ago...Spirtwood is a natural spring feed lake, not know for a great fishing lake if I remember correctly, The resivors on the James and Pipesteam rivers at Jamestown have in the past few years been real good fisherys, I would certianly try them, there is a group of organized walleye fisherman out of Jamestown, call Gun and reel sports they should be able to give you information on them. Devils lake is not to far away either.

Turock...Give us a report back if you catch any Zander or hear any stories about them. After receiving report from the ND G&F, I'm going to keep a journal of catches ( Bonafide & rumor ). Thanks. Richard
