I have a '99 193 Eagle with a 200 Mercury Optimax and am very happy with it and the company. My wife and I fish around 16 tournaments a year plus we use it for family fun and skiing. Feel free to e-mail me with any specific questions.
Good Luck with your decision!

Have a 1999 Eagle 1891 SC with 175 EFI Mercury and am very pleased with the package, dealer and company. Looked at all the popular glass boats and this boat did the most for me. You must decide but I'm very pleased with mine. Tom

My father has a 1994 190 eagle with 200 merc which I have spent many a day running the electric in. all round great boat, rides nice, goes fast, haven't had any real problems with it other than a leaky livewell because there wasn't enough silicon around the top. The 190 is basically the same as the 193 that they make now, but with a few minor changes, like the windshield being curved. I have personally had that boat in 6 foot waves and lived to tell about it. the bilge pump ran alot from the waves over the bow, but we made it out of it ok. (I will never do it again though :) ) I have 100 percent total faith in the boat, just like I would have if it were a ranger or a triton or any other high end glass boat. I know some folks have had warranty trouble with warrior for various reasons, and I don't want to open a can of worms here because I know we've been over this before, but (correct me if I'm wrong) those were with older models, and most were results of gelcoat cracks, which I'm told will be remedied because of the new gelcoat they are using this year.
If you have more specific questions, I'll try to help.

I bought a new boat last summer. Warriors are extremely popular around here. I took a couple warriors for test drives and 2 of my fishing buddies have them, (18' and 19') They are a good stable riding boat with some nice features. I put the boat I bought side by side with the same sized Warrior and spend most of an afternoon sitting in them. For $4,000 less money and no baitwell, I got a lot more interior room in the 18.5' Crestliner tournament series that I bought. It has 2 livewells of which one is a little smaller and can be used as a bait well. It has two built in coolers although they are not insulated and a lockable rod locker. The Crestliner is quicker on plane but not as smooth in rough water and the Warrior will take a bigger beating but I don't fish in water rough enough to make that kind of difference. I have a 150hp with a 15hp merc kicker and a 62lb thrust autopilot. It runs top end at 45-48mph. Its all I ever needed until I outgrow it of course. Eat-sleep-fish.

I have a 177 eagle with a 70 merc tiller. I fish some big water and besides some water over the front I love it. I went from a lund (i've had 2)and wouldn't go back. Look in the paper and see how many used ones are for sale. here in mn. their hard to com by and they hold their value that means alot to me. the warranty problems wre more of a dealer problem, seems the owner didn't want to reinburse dealers for work done. heard he is a real jerk. I would definently buy another one only bigger just have to talk my wife into it mail me with any questions good luck mark

I'm not going to slam Warrior boats, but Steve Crane from Green Bay asked me to post his phone # if anyone wanted personal experience with the Warrior company. His story isn't good. He's had problems with the boat and the company for the last couple years. Call:

I own a 177 Falcon with a 75hp tiller. I can't say anything bad about the boat. Stable, dry, reliable. I had a warranty situation with the trailer, took care of me no problem. I would buy another but maybe a next size bigger.

I have a 97 1790 DC warrior with a 150 Efi , I bought it becuse I was sick of aluminums rough ride ,leaking etc, I have towed it on a warrior trailer, all over the midwest and south I have used it for two years and have broken absolutely nothing.(I fish hard in any weather 10 18 days a month from ice out until late October) I will use it one more season then I will buy another one.Probably a 1898DC (new for 2000 and a little wider ) with a 200 optimax, I like the open layout and everything is exactly where it should be, did I mention the dry smooth ride ,

I'm on my 2nd warrior the first a 1890 with a 175 and now a 193 with a 200 opti. In my book they are the best money can buy. I have been guiding on Fort Peck here in Montana for all most 10 years, the last 5 have been in a warrior. Ft Peck is BIG water and these boats are made to handle it.
I would be scared to say how many hours I had on my 1890 but it was lots, when I traded it in the hull was as sound as the day I bought it. In 5 years most guide boats will put on more hours than your average boat will in 20. Over half the full time guides on Ft. Peck are in Warriors , that should say somthing for their quallity.
No matter what you decide on my advice would be to test drive any boat you are concidering. A good boat is its own best seller.
Good luck !
Scott.

I am going on my 4th year with a Warrior. I guide on Leech Lake and have had no problem in the big wind conditions we face. Solid, dry, good ride.
I run an 1890 Warrior Eagle, with a 90 Merc tiller. Several guides on Leech run Warrior's.
Good luck, Murph!
