I have a crestliner 17' superhawk and am in need of a good trolling motor. Who has the best and what should I expect to pay for it?
My current unit is a PinPoint 3700. I am forever spoiled by this unit -- lots of power, reliable, low battery drain, etc.
But that's only 1/3 of the story..... I can devote a *LOT* more attention to fishing, because it takes over 75% of the "housekeeping chores" of boat positioning, staying on depth, etc., etc., etc. It's almost like hiring a helmsman!

And if the Pinpoint is a bit much for the pocketbook, the MinnKota 65 PD Autopilot with a 60" shaft is a great unit. Should be able to pick one up for around $700. Good luck! Fred
