I just purchased a new 1675 explorer tiller and was rigging it up this weekend. I must say Im quite impressed with the fit and finish of this boat
The other thing I've noticed was the fact that Lund uses nuts and bolts where they can in stead of just metal screws that tend to strip out. Every thing was designed to be replaced if necessary (decks ect..) I know that there are post stating that Lunds are too much $$.
IVe looked at Alumacraft too but Lund to me was worth the extra $$ you get what you pay for.
I want to thank all of you for helping me make my decision. But like all boats some have bad points....IF anyone has something good or bad on this boat let me know.
Bad points I could see but not worried about...casted nose piece is cracked at the screw hole. And the main storage floor in the bow is wood...why not aluminium.
Good fishing to all and thanks again
