June 15 - 22. Does anybody have any experience hooking up with the big marble-eyes on the big Dale? We'll be on a houseboat for a week and hope to get a few. Any ideas?
Thanks,
G.H.

check some of the postings on the Kentucky and Tennessee boards at www.fishin.com. We were there that time last year, the lake is a wonderful place in June. Plan on lots of night fishing or go out during the week when the traffic is not so heavy. Next time we may have to paintball a jetski!tight lines, m

Not many fish for Walleyes there but they are definitly there!! Big Ones too! You might be a little late to make consistant contact however. Think the locals have told us its mostly in May. We go there every November for Smallmouth, but it was years before we ever made contact with a Walleye, but it was 6 lb + .
We were jumpin up and down about it,the locals laughed at us..(they do that a lot), said kinda average! Have fun!! If you happen to be goin outta Cedar Hill, say Hi to Ron and Ray from Paul and Mark from Chi-Town.

Yes, we'll be on one of their boats. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. (For the price of a houseboat they should!)
As for the walleye it was years for us also before we hit one. 27.5 incher. Not released. Very tasty!
We normally hit the Dale in the spring but are trying something different this year. The ladies and kids can swim and have a bit more fun than in April.
I'll tell them you said hello!
