I bought a Honda 5hp 4 stroke last year for adventure type fishing for my square stern canoe and 12 foot boat. I'm used to using the 9.9 Johnson or Mariner for trolling, and was a little dissatisfied by the Honda's inability to troll down to slower speeds - I've tried to adjust the pin, but it just ends up cutting on me when I try an go that slow, putting me back where I started - too fast. I love everything else about this motor. Does anybody out there have any experience with this? I'm no mechanic.
