MinnKota 65AP on Ranger 617?

Will this be a sufficient (power wise) trolling motor for this boat? Would I be better off with more pounds of thrust?
Also, is the Genesis worth the extra $? I am not sure that I ould use the extra feature(s) that much. How about the Universal Transducer mount? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I think the 65AP would have enough power for a 617. I have a 54Maxxum and it is sufficient. There are times it would be nice to have more power but that's when I put the 9.9 down. I think the universal sonar would be great. You don't have to worry about the transducer getting knocked out of whack. Good luck
