Speed out-put on Lund 2025

I recently purchased a new 1999 Lund 2025. It was tied up in an estate battle for a couple of years so I got a real good deal. The motor is a 1998 175 Evinrude ocean pro. It also was brand new. I did some checking before I purchased this engine since Evinrude had alot of problems. I found out since mine wasn't the fuel injected engine it wasn't one of the engines that was blowing up!
My question is top end speed. The boat is the single console. I was prop chasing for awhile .....I am now running a stainless steel 19 pitch. I'm topping out around 50-52 mph. (GPS) is that about right?
The ride is incredible, smooth as smooth can be....and dry as #####!

Yes, that sounds about right. You are actually higher than I'd expect. I think max h.p. for that hull is a 225. Pretty much every Lund Pro V SE (1775, 1800, 1900, 2025), when maxed out on h.p., will reach a top speed of 53 to 54. If you are at 50 to 52 with a 175 I'd say you are doing very well.
