I see the new 1900 se models have a 25" transom.I was gonna put a older 20" shaft motor on a new Lund or isnt this adviseable?Tryeing to save a few bucks but this mite not work.Help please.Thanks,Troller

Sorry to say that if you have a 20" shaft outboard and are considering a 25" transom boat you will need to get yourself a new outboard. It may be possible to find a replacement lower unit but I do not think it is.
