We're back from the great Canadian Lake of the Woods. What a trip to log in the history books.
Cold, wet, windy and we caught fish! Lots of 16"-24" and one 27" Had to work harder then years past, but it was great. The boat worked great, though crowded with 3. The new electronics were flawless as was the Guest charger (Thanks Sue).
I got chased by a pissed off fox one night while heading to the fish cleaning station...that went over well with the older guys in the group. We had a 40+" Muskie surface next to the boat by Rasberry. Lost lots of jigs to the "rockfish" and had a blast.
The drive home was uneventful until we were about 10 miles south of Moose Lake on Hwy 35 when a guy steps out onto the ditch on the northbound side TOTALLY naked! Needless to say we were all amused and we not surprised to see the State Patrol whizzing north about 10 miles south of that point. Never saw anything in the paper or heard much from any other travelers. He was going for a ride!
Again, there is nothing like your own bed! :-)
