View Full Version : Aluminum Warrior - hull issues

I have an aluminum Warrior (1994, 17ft) in need of some maintenance. On both sides of the boat, where the hull starts to narrow at the front platform, there are brakets that tie the gunnel/hull to the livewell cross member/front platform. Those brackets are loose... resulting in some flexing of the hull. Another symptom of flexing is that the rivets at that location leak (I have sealed those for a temporary fix).

The dealer where the boat was purchased has closed up shop. And I haven't had luck getting feedback from Warrior (I've tried via email to their website). My questions are:

1) Has anybody experienced similar hull issues? If so, what type of fix works?

2) Any advice/contacts on following up on possible warranty (or non-warranty) work with Warrior?

Jiggy,
I would suggest get a buddy to help you and just hammer the rivets tight again. One guy on the outside with a body style hammer and one guy on the inside with a body style anvil.
A buddy and I did it on an old Lund and it worked great.
Warrior doesn't make any aluminum boats anymore and I am not sure it is the same Warrior. I think it was a different company but I am not sure.
Good Luck
Chris
