I am wondering where the best place to mount a Lowrance GPS Module on my 619 Ranger other than gunnel or dash area. Thanks ahead for the help!!!

I personally have mine mounted on the round black plastic access panel in the splash well. It works great. This way if you have to remove it, you can always buy another access cover. Good Luck

I mounted mine on the aluminum plate on the bow, next to the bow light plug in. Works well there.

I second the black "circles" on the stern. That's where I have mine on my 617.

I also have mine mounted on the "black circles" on the transom. Works very well there and it's never in the way.

I have a 620 but it should be the same! Mine is up front by the trolling motor. It works fine and is out of the way. I feel if you mount anything on the back it might get stepped on!

Rail mount just ahead of driver's side console works pretty nice.

One thing to make sure is not to mount the module to close to your marine radio antenna. This will cause you to blow your fuses for your electronics if you key up your radio. Mine is mounted in front of drivers console and antenna is mounted by remote for the outboard.

Good Luck,

Mount it under the plate in the back, will shoot through the plastic covering and can not be seen or stepped on.Use pvc silicone or make a bracket to hold it to it...redrnger
