I have a 1800 PRO V with a 115hp and 9.9 kicker. Is this enough boat for Erie?

On the right day, yes. Sometimes a 25 footer ain't enough for erie. Pick your day and you'll be fine

I have a Crestliner 1850 Sportfish with a 150 Opti and a 15hp kicker. I've fished Erie and Lake Ontario and not had any problems. We've fished in up to 6 fter's on Ontario in it. You still have to watch the weather and pick and chose the days. I know guys with 31' Tiara's that wish they had more boat for Erie, it can be a nasty lake. Be safe and take it easy

Don't take this personally, but a lot of it has to do with the operator of the boat. I've been in boats on Erie from 16 to 26 feet. An inexperienced operator in a 26 footer can make you beg for a ride from a guy driving a 17 footer. Know that the boat will probably take more water than you can drive in, but that doesn't mean comforatably. Best advice is from the other post...pick your days, and know your own capabilities.
