Is there an Abu Garcia reel that will give me both left hand retreive and a thumb bar?

There are plenty, depending on which size reel you want. Any ABU with the model number ending in 601 is left handed (01) and fitted with a thumb bar (6).
Small to big some suggestions are:
Morrum SX 1601
Morrum SX 3601
Ultracast UC 5601 C
Cabelas 6601 CB
