Hello, where can I purchase a new boat cover for my Alumacraft Mag Lunker LTD......Any help would be appreciated.....JG
I think Dans Southside Marine in MN can get them for you. I think there is a "custom" one if you have a bow mount trolling motor. They kind of have bad attitudes so I don't really recomend the place. Maybe one of the other big Alumacraft dealers.

I have a nice cover I purchased with my boat which I believe was made by Dowco Inc, in WI. (Including Alumacraft logo...nice touch.)

I have a Trophysport 175 and had a custom cover made at Canvas Craft in Anoka, MN. It fits great (as it should for $500-$600). I had checked with an Alumacraft dealer prior, and they recommended if any custom work had to be done, for a trolling motor, then to have a custom cover made. Just make sure the motor is in the correct trailering position prior to having the cover made.
I second the response concerning Dan's Southside Marine. While I won't unfairly criticize a dealer, they deserve it in my opinion. I received very poor service there, even though my boat and motor were from them. I will never go back! Try Nelson Marine in White Bear Lake - they have treated me well.
I would definitely second the canvas craft choice, they did mine 4 years ago for my Alumacraft TP 175. It has been an excellent cover with no complaint, and hold up well for the miles it travels.

I Third the Canvas Craft cover. We had one customed made for our 1990 Crestliner and use it everywhere we go. After 12 years it is still in great condition. Fits very snug and hasn't even shown any wear yet!! I plan on buying a new boat in a couple years and am going straight there to get a second cover. They are great as well. If you add anything to your boat. Trolling motot, splash guards etc... they at anytime can modify the cover.
